Swimming with sharks: the Golden Nugget hotel pool offers a unique experience

This heated outdoor swimming pool , which is part of the Golden Nugget casino and resort, is not one for the faint-hearted.

Featuring a three-story waterslide through a 200,000-gallon shark tank, it lets its visitors come face to face with some of the world's most feared sea predators.

Swimmers can press their faces against the glass to come close to six species of sharks, rays and tropical fish.

This experience is only open to hotel guests but if you don't want to miss out, you can take a behind-the-scenes tour for $30 per person.
