Awkward moment Jason Derulo shouts 'Hello Wolverhampton!' to crowd of fans in WORCESTER

Jason Derulo was left red-faced when he shouted "Hello Wolverhampton" to a crowd of fans in Worcester this week.

It's every singer's worst nightmare come true.

The musician was performing at Tramps nightclub on Saturday, when he greeted the crowd - presuming he was in a totally different place - with Wolverhampton actually 40 miles away.

According to the Mail Online, the star turned up 20 minutes late for the club appearance - and angered a few party-goers within seconds of taking to the stage.

Some fans reportedly claimed he only performed for around 15 minutes, but club manager Dean Hill told the site the star was "on stage a lot longer than ten to 15 minutes" - and he remained at the club until 4.10am.

The event wasn't the star's own gig, but an afterparty he had agreed to host following his performance earlier in the night in Birmingham.

One Worcester fan told the site: "The DJ shouted 'Jason Derulo's in the house', but we were like 'well, where is he?'

"When he did finally he said 'Hello Wolverhampton' and we were shouting 'Worcester!'

"He didn't even know where he was."

The fans described the star as "uncomfortable" and claimed he didn't say goodbye to the crowd.

Meanwhile on the nightclub's Facebook page, Kate Mcginley reportedly wrote: "What a waste of time. 2 hrs late for a start paid the extra for vip, that was pointless.

"Very disappointed to pay £20 to watch him dance to a Justin Bieber song with his mates for 5 mins."

However Mr Hill quickly responded: "People have complained he didn't perform but we said from the start he wouldn't be, it was an afterparty.
